The main characters in the book are nanda, khusru, rekha. Dhauladhar is a place where the construction of a dam is to take place in India. Nanda is one of the employees working on the project site running from his past and family rivalries. Rekha is a passionate dancer and a doctor by profession. Last but not the least khusru lost his family at younger age, to unite with them how he got involved with terrorists and their terror gambit is worth reading about in this book. The terrorists are planning to destroy the dam. The plot of this book was interesting. The characterization was on point. The past of the characters was mentioned beautifully and with necessary details and how these characters came to know each other at a common point. The writing style was good there were phrases in Urdu, Punjabi and other languages which were mentioned/explained in English for the reader to understand. The technical details about the construction, material extraction, machinery, the mountain life, each and everything was explained beautifully and made the book interesting. I was expecting a great climax from this book as the terrorist factor was involved. The ending of the book took pace and a page turner when police got involved but the climax was a little downer for me. The book was no doubt entertaining and I would recommend all of you to give this book a read and to know more about these interesting characters, their life, struggles which lead them to the construction site of the dam.
