Main characters in the book are Dr. Kat Novak, Adam Quantrell. Adam here is a wealthy person and president of Cygnus Pharmaceuticals. His daughter maeve is missing and she doesn’t wants to be found. Now in south Lexington city 3 junkies have died and after the autopsy Dr. Novak gets to know that a new drug is been floated in the town and junkies are taking them. The drug is being manufactured in Adam’s pharma which was not supposed to be released as the drug was not tested and approved. Who got the drug out, where is maeve, why she doesn’t want to be found, how kat and adam will stop the flow of drug and stop the killings is you are going to find in this book.I have read other books by Tess Gerritsen and i liked them all but this book was a little disappointment  for me. The writing no doubt was awesome but the blurb and plot didn’t match. The title of the book didn’t justify the story line. However the turns and events in the end made me give 4 out of 5 rating for the climax because it kept me engaged to read the book further. But you can give it a shot and i hope you’ll like the book.
