Main characters in the book are Zélie, Tzain, Amari, Inan. The story starts when Amari (Orïsha’s princess) runs into Zélie (a maji) while escaping the palace and asks Zélie to help her, seeing not much of a choice with soldiers everywhere Zélie agrees and with help of her brother Tzain they escape. Both Zélie and Tzain interrogates Amari why she was running from her own army being a princess and then she reveals she has a scroll which can bring magic back in Zélie’s and in every maji’s life, present in Orïsha. So the hunt begins to bring magic back and fight the king who doesn’t want magic to return so he sends his son Inan to bring her sister back with the scroll. The plot of the book was so intriguing which couldn’t stop me to read this books as quickly as i can. The writing was to amazing, the story was so well written which made me fall in love with the author. In the book you’ll get to know the story from each character’s perspective which made the book more interesting. The characters were well thought and each of them had a major part to play. I was expecting more fights including magic between the characters but it’s ok i loved the book as it is written. So it’s a THUMBS UP from my side because i loved this book, do check out this book.
