The main characters in the book are Katniss, Peeta. I picked this book because i found the plot of the book(trilogy) very intriguing. Twelve boys and Twelve girls from different districts are forced to appear in a live TV show called The Hunger Games and there is only one rule: kill or be killed and only one amongst them can survive. Now there are total of 12 districts and each district has to select a boy and a girl to send to participate in the games. From district 12 Peeta is the chosen one but Katniss volunteer for the games to save her sister. The story is about survival in the games. This book was fast paced with different twist, turns and strategies by participants and organizers to keep the game interesting and survive in the game. Katniss is a strong female character in the book and you’ll love her when you read the book. How both Katniss and Peeta from the same district survive the game is to know in the book and what will be the consequences. Recommended for one and all. It’s definitely a 5/5 read and I can’t wait to read the whole series.
