The main characters in the book are Keith, Kyra, brijesh, Ramesh. The book is about Keith and his struggle towards his dream. Keith is an hardworking employee who takes his job very seriously and is a go to guy for his manager when an important client/project shows up. He work round the clock and have no friends in his office. All his motivation dismantle when he doesn’t get the desired appraisal and is disheartened when he get to know his other colleague got more than him. All he wanted to quit his job but couldn’t because he had his mother and sister to look after. All this resulted in cold vibes between him and his manager Mathur. So one day he was asked by his boss to visit Bangalore on a project where he met Ramesh, the manager he was to work with and this was the moment Keith’s life took a huge turn. Ramesh acted as a motivator in Keith’s life. Who wanted Keith to pursue his dream. In the whole process of being an IT professional to pursuing his dream he meets Kyra. Kyra, brijesh and ramesh helped Keith in his journey and were always there by his side in all the ups and downs he faced. The title really helps define the plot of the book. The author defined the office culture very impactfully which I found true to most extent. The introduction of Ramesh was much needed in the book, his view towards every situation in the book is to read for. Although it was Keith’s story but many of us can relate to him in this book. The climax of the book was expected as the story was moving forward but what’s interesting is how Keith handled every failure to achieve his dream and was he able to achieve it in the end is what you should read about. As we say dreams are expensive, they take more from you than giving you fulfilling results in the end. This is what happened with Keith. The book was definitely entertaining and fast paced and I would recommend you to read this motivating book.
